Brisbane Airport on 29 August 1989. The locations of the old and new Southern Cross Memorials are circled. The Southern Cross was relocated on 18 November 1987. At this time the old Eagle Farm airport is closed and the new International Terminal is still under construction. The Temporary International Terminal was located on Boronia Road to the east of the old runway.
