Air Board Agendum 6479 of 13 April 1945 lists what has been requested by Cinesound Productions and what has been approved by the Air Board. Although seemingly anachronistic, the formation of B-24 Liberators mentioned in (a) and (b) does appear in the early scenes for the purpose of illustrating progress in trans-Pacific flying. The mention of Vengeance and Wirraway aircraft in (i) and (j) probably indicates the originally intended method of depicting close-ups of a two seat aircraft. This function was eventually served by the construction of a mockup. The document also suggests that repainting of the Boomerang was intended to be performed by the RAAF.
