A89-281 was diverted to Sydney to take on board the press photographers after one of the other aircraft developed a minor engine fire. A89-281 then rendezvoused with the remaining Neptune over the barque "Endeavour II", 30 miles east of Barrenjoey. Photographs were taken, and A89-281 returned to Richmond via Sydney. The 3 Neptunes returned to Townsville the next day. |
