This precious memento of the Darwin evacuation airlift after Cyclone Tracy (no "e") comes from the collection of Tracey (with an "e") Turner who was a passenger on the flight. The crew have thoughtfully changed the tail number of the C-130A in the photo so it can be presumed that the aircraft was A97-216. The date was almost certainly 27 December 1974.

For the Sydney-Adelaide leg of her flight, Tracey wore this TAA Junior Passenger tag. She was one of 143 passengers on flight TN2856 on 28 December 1974. The aircraft was Boeing 727-276 VH-TBG.
