flown cover was carried on HS.125 VH-ECF during the BP England-Australia
Air Race. The postmarks would suggest that the aircraft arrived in London
on 17 December 1969. The aircraft is known to have departed London Gatwick
on 1 January 1970 and arrived at the finish line in Adelaide on 2 January
1970 with a total elapsed time of 27 hours 30 minutes 29 seconds. The
cover is signed by Captain Anthony Charles (Tony) Dobson.
