707 Dreamliner

Photographed at Miami in the latter half of August 2011, 9Q-CLK has been test flown following almost twelve months of heavy maintenance. During its layup, all four engines, the landing gear, all flight controls and the APU have been replaced and all corrosion removed. The aircraft is due to be returned to its owner, the Government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, on 29 August 2011, just ten days shy of the 52nd anniversary of her first flight as VH-EBG on 8 September 1959.
